Areas of Expertise

The Conflict Resolution Network has expertise in a range of areas, including:

Main Aims and Objectives

CRN’s vision is to create a conflict-resolving community in a culture of peace and social justice. CRN does this by researching, developing, teaching and implementing the theory and practice of CR throughout a national and international network. Conflict Resolution (CR) builds stronger and more unified organisations and more rewarding relationships.

Upholding the Principles of Conflict Transformation

Conflict resolution and transformation skills and advocacy are vital for all the objectives of a well-run society and never more so than when we aim for peace, human rights and ecological care. Every human need and our very survival depends on our skill to communicate non-violently and creatively. CRN believe this process starts from where we stand – it can be personal, within family, community, government or the international arena. Conflict resolution and transformation skills are the tools to move the rocks from our path.CRN makes free training materials available, provide texts, manuals and DVDs on conflict resolution, including its source text – “Everyone Can Win”, 2nd edition, Helena Cornelius and Shoshana Faire. CRN also runs E-Learning Courses, and has a scholarship program available.

Where and with whom?

CRN works mainly via the internet, though consultants with whom it has close association work throughout Australia and often internationally. The skills CRN teaches are very specific but very transferable and thus are relevant for family, community, government or the international arena.
